BUILT
FROM THE
GROUND UP.
Hypnautic is an independent rapper and songwriter based in Denver, Colorado, known for his solo music and his work alongside King Tef in Top Flite Empire. Born Brian Godeaux, he makes hip-hop for real life: the ambition to build something, the responsibility of protecting it, and the perspective that comes from living through both.
As part of Billboard-charting hip-hop duo Top Flite Empire, Hypnautic helped build an independent career that reached beyond Colorado. The group’s catalog includes Bad Decisions, with music featured on Netflix, MTV, VH1, and BET. Across his career, he has delivered more than 1,000 live performances and shared stages with artists including Lil Wayne, Lil Jon, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Nelly, Waka Flocka Flame, Fat Joe, and Flo Rida.
STILL
VERTICAL.
His solo album, Good to Be Vertical, scheduled for November 11, 2026, brings that experience into sharp focus. Across 13 tracks, Hypnautic explores pressure, faith, family, relationships, accountability, and the determination to keep moving. Songs including “Forgive the Son,” “Pressure,” and “Keep It Moving” combine personal storytelling with the intensity that has defined his live performances. There is room for hard questions, confidence, vulnerability, and gratitude—all grounded in a life he is still learning from.

BIG PICTURE.
REAL LIFE.
That same independent spirit extends beyond the microphone. As co-founder and COO of Qoncert, Hypnautic helps create performance opportunities and artist development resources for independent musicians. Years spent navigating the music industry inform his commitment to helping other artists build sustainable careers and reach their own audiences.
At the center of his music is a clear conviction: know what is worth fighting for, have the strength to fight for it, and make sure that fight serves something bigger than yourself.
